Vintage Park is a Senior Living Community in Hiawatha, KS. This project includes a 7,500 square foot wood structure addition on the west side of the existing building (previously known as Medicalodges, Inc.), originally constructed by AHRS.
Along with the addition, renovations to the existing kitchen and dining rooms were also completed. The new addition was composed of 11 apartments, a laundry facility, a workout room, and a media room. The media room offers the residents a movie theater-like setting because of the state of the art sound system and 82″ flat screen television.
The interior renovation included an entirely new kitchen, food pantry, mechanical room, and dish washing area. The dining rooms and sun room received a new vinyl planking flooring system with an upgraded coffee bar for the early risers. New landscaping around the building, combined with a new courtyard, put the finishing touches on a new and innovative housing complex for senior citizens.
