The City of Saint George, Kansas was in need of a new wastewater treatment facility. AHRS teamed with Schwab-Eaton to fullfill that need. The project included construction of a new 32’x40′ control building which housed a Tritan belt filter press, sludge pump, polymer pump, 3 large blower units and various other equipment for the treatment plant process. A headworks structure with a spiral screen, a 48’x53′ Sequox tank and a 14’x20′ UV structure were also constructed. The old lift station was repurposed with a new top ring and access hatch and 2 new pumps. After the new plant was on line the old waste water treatment plant was demolished.
