The Sabetha Health & Wellness group was organized in 2008 with the purpose of researching, promoting, securing funding, and successfully operating a new fitness center in the City of Sabetha, KS. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the committee and help from many generous donors, the project was able to move forward. In 2017, AHRS Construction along with Tevis Architects was selected by the committee as the Design Build partner to make the facility a reality.
The facility includes the following amenities: Full court gym w/option for 2 courts in perpendicular direction that includes basketball goals, volleyball nets and motorized batting cage; walking/jogging track; 3,200 SF cardio/weight room; 2 fitness studios; locker rooms, offices and 2 therapy pools for fitness, conditioning, therapy and rehabilitation.
The 1-story facility is located on Sabetha Community Hospital’s property. The structure is a pre-engineered metal building with a standing seam metal roof and a facade composed of a combination of metal panels, brick, CMU and storefront glazing.
