Due to increasing enrollment at Nemaha Central Schools, more classroom space was required. This project adds (4) classrooms and (2) small meeting rooms in an expansion project that physically connects the Elementary/Middle School, that AHRS Construction completed in 2009, to the High School building. The new building is a 1-story addition that has a structural steel frame with brick facade & metal panels to match the architecture of the Elementary/Middle School building. Fire sprinkler, fire alarm, security and paging systems connect with the existing facilities.
Also included with this project is a Greenhouse to facilitate functional learning by the school’s agricultural education/FFA program. A portion of this project will be funded by local donors.
