HF Rubber Machinery made plans to move their headquarters to Topeka, KS. This new structure was to be located just north of their “Plant 3”.
This project yields an impressive 62′ x 302′ pre-engineered metal building housing a state-of-the-art rubber mixer manufacturing plant. The building is 45′ tall to accommodate a massive 60-ton free standing crane system with three 10-ton sister cranes.
This building also contains a semi truck and trailer loading area, three shuttle areas, a water testing area, five mixer assembly bays, a parts storage area, an enclosed paint booth, multiple inspection areas, and a sand blast booth. New offices, restrooms, a break room, and customer meeting room line the south wall of the plant. A new east entry and asphalt drive into this complex gives the building multiple avenues of accessibility. Also, the existing employee parking lot was resurfaced.
