As Rock Creek schools were looking to expand and improve, this project came to fruition. The addition of 3 new classrooms, a strength & conditioning facility, a track storage building, a new football press box, refinishing of the gymnasium, restroom refinishing, and updates to the main lobby and concessions area were all completed.
The classroom additions are CMU and brick walls, steel joist roof framing and an EPDM roof. THe 5,000 square foot strength & conditioning facility is a pre-engineered metal building with standing seam roofing and standard interior finishes. The track storage building is a 40′ x 70′ pre-engineered metal building. The existing mezzanine level was modified for installation of bleachers extending onto that level from below. The gym floors & walls were refinished.
The existing press box was removed, and additional concrete work was completed for the new press box ( located on the home side) and new bleachers on the visitor’s side. The restrooms in the existing building received plumbing fixture upgrades, new flooring, toilet partitions, and wall paint. The main lobby added new tile flooring, new ceiling tile, and a new concessions area.
