The City of Seneca, KS’s outdoor swimming pool was in dire need of updating. Instead, the decision was made to build an entirely new outdoor aquatic center at a new site.
This project contains a 6-lane 25-yard competition pool, a diving well for 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards, water slides, a leisure pool with “zero depth entry”, a dedicated toddler area, and multiple water play features. Other aquatic elements include shade structures, grass decks, a floatable walk, and a footbridge that forms the connection between the leisure pool and competition pool.
A new office space, storage, and lifeguard hangout, along with locker rooms, showers, and bathrooms completed the project.
