Peru State College was in need of a new library, so they chose to renovate a gymnasium and an adjacent building into a multi function library and resource center.
The project included a new 1,000 square foot catwalk link between buildings and renovation of 47,000 square feet within the two buildings. It included full interior demolition of the existing gym and pool area for use as a library and classrooms. Work included concrete foundations, structural steel, copper standing seam roof, metal stud framing and finishes, as well as new mechanical and electrical systems.
