With the loss of their previous elementary school to a fire, a new facility was necessary. Located in Seneca, KS, the new Nemaha Valley Elementary School was constructed just to the south of the current high school.
This project includes a spacious cafeteria, media center, science room, and functional classrooms, as well as a new gymnasium and locker rooms. The locker rooms and music room also serve as above-grade storm shelters. A combination gypsum drywall/acoustical tile ceiling set on different angles adds to the atmosphere in the music room. On the exterior, a combination of metal wall & roof panels, as well as aluminum facade panels, compliment the two colors of brick veneer. The media center has an appealing curved window view to the front of the building.
