This project came about to address those needs. The project includes a new Rural Health Clinic as well as additions and renovations to the existing hospital. The project was funded through a capital campaign, grants and a USDA loan.

The new 2-story clinic addition is attached to the existing hospital with a new entrance lobby to serve both the clinic and existing hospital. Clinic space is on the 1st floor with administrative and support spaces on the 2nd floor.

The hospital additions and renovations include: 8 new patient rooms, additions to the emergency room, new operating rooms, updated nurse’s station & E.R. waiting room, new E.R. canopy and entrance, additional and updated space at the specialty clinic, renovations to the surgery recovery unit, new flooring, new office space, meeting & training space and renovated registration stations.

The new additions have a structural steel frame set on concrete grade beam foundations. Floors are slab on grade and slab on deck concrete. The exterior walls are metal stud framed with a façade of brick, metal panels and aluminum storefront glazing. Roofing is a TPO membrane roofing system.
