The City of Hiawatha, Kansas was in need of water treatment plant improvements. AHRS teamed with BG Consultants to fulfill that need. The project included construction of a new pre-engineered metal building to house new ion exchange water treatment equipment. The project also includes the construction of a 100,000 gallon standpipe, two lagoon facilities totaling 3.1 acres to store brine water and 9,000lf of waterline construction.
