With new growth and new technology, the existing Hiawatha Hospital in Hiawatha, KS was in need of expansion. This addition is approximately 37,600 square foot with 2 story steel structure. A cast in place concrete foundation forms the basement level. Meanwhile, a new main entrance into the facility added a eye-catching face to the updated facility.
The new “Medical Office Building” is home to several different medical professionals and activities including the following: exam rooms, MD offices, nurses’ station, physical therapy, treatment room, gift shop, and extra space for future expansion.
The exterior finish is a combination of brick, stone, and aluminum storefront. Site work consists of asphalt parking lots with concrete curb and gutter to both the west and east of the new addition.
