USD 113 Prairie Hills determined that relocation of the Axtell Public school offices and library/media room would create a more secure direct entry to the facility. AHRS teamed with Ekoe Architecture in Manhattan, KS for the project.
The existing dismantled library/media room was going to be the new school office, principal office, nurses office, and work area. This would also ensure a more secure entry into the school. The dismantled school office area was then utilized as a new media/ADL center while also renovating 550 SF of the existing library in that area.
