USD 115 was in need of additional classroom space and improvements to their existing institutions. After two bond approval elections, the financing was acquired to move forward with construction to meet their needs.
The project consists of a 29,000 SF of new additions at the Elementary and High School. This includes a new Pre-K wing and cafeteria addition at the Elementary School and new science classrooms, general classrooms, restrooms, storm shelter and administration wing at the High School.
The project also includes 30,000 SF of heavy renovation at the High School, including restroom and locker room renovations, new band and music classroom, new art classroom and SPED classrooms. Also included are a new fire sprinkler system and HVAC system upgrades throughout the High School and a remodel of the CTE complex.
