The continous support from the community has helped Community National Bank grow year after year since it’s beginning in 1984. The existing building they had been operating in served the bank well, but with the latest trends in banking technology and the variety of new services the bank offers, additional space was needed for the bank to adapt to those and future changes. AHRS worked with CNB and Larry Chilese Architects through preconstruction to develop a plan and budget for the bank to work with.
This is a 2-Phase project with the 1st phase being a 2-story addition totaling 5,700 SF. The addition includes more office space, a new conference room, additional bookkeeping, file storage and IT space. Phase 2 renovates the main floor of the bank including offices, the teller station and restrooms. Finishes, fixtures and mechanical/electrical systems are updated throughout. Banking equipment is also updated as part of the project.
The structure is a concrete basement with wood framed walls & trusses. The entire facility receives a new roof. The brick & stone exterior facade are replaced to facilitate the changes and resemble the look of CNB’s Retirement Plans Division building across the street. A new concrete drive through lane and parking are included in site upgrades.
This additional space will allow the bank to continue to grow and serve its customers in Nemaha County and the surrounding areas for many years to come!
