Tyler has always had an interest in construction. He was always “constructing” throughout his childhood—whether it was with Legos or by pestering neighbors who were building their new house (who graciously set 7-year-old Tyler up with a wheelbarrow of scrap lumber and a drill to “help” drill holes). He excelled in the carpentry classes he took in high school. After receiving his associate’s degree in construction technology from SECC, Tyler began working with AHRS in 2014 as a laborer. His hard work and construction experience led to promotions: leadman in 2022, Assistant Superintendent in 2024, and Superintendent in 2025.
Tyler exhibits a strong work ethic and pride in his attention to detail. He is a certified welder and has been a great asset on multiple commercial projects. As a superintendent, Tyler manages the daily performance of projects. He works alongside project managers and the rest of the AHRS staff to ensure that each completed project meets or exceeds the expectations of all parties. His favorite thing about construction is “Being able to look back at the end of the day, week, month, or year and know you are a part of creating something lasting and tangible that will be used for years to come.”
