Jay earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science and Management from Kansas State University and has 22 years of experience in the construction industry, 19 years of which have been with AHRS Construction, Inc. While working with AHRS, Jay has developed strong relationships in the pre-construction community. In his role as estimator, Jay assembles a vast array of cost estimates ranging from lump sum bids to design build proposals to budgetary cost analysis. Jay also assists the project manager with cost control, procurement, scheduling, and coordination. Prior to AHRS, Jay worked as a project manager for Lithko Contracting, specializing in tilt-up wall construction. Jay managed multiple tilt wall projects including a 750,000 square foot / 256 wall panel Best Buy distribution center.
