Dan Stallbaumer – President/Owner ; Since 1976

In the 40 years of his ownership of AHRS, Dan has developed a diversified construction company capable of managing and constructing many types of projects, including new and renovated commercial projects and residential construction. His leadership, problem solving, management, and organizational skills have been the foundation of many successful projects. Dan's community involvement has helped to understand the needs of the customers in the local area.

Matt Holthaus – Project Manager ; Since 2017

Matt has worked as a project manager and estimator since graduating in 2004 from Kansas State University with a Bachelor's degree in Construction Science and Management. Upon graduating college, he worked in the Washington, DC metro area gaining experience in multiple areas of work including educational, government, commercial office, medical office and tenant fit-out. As an estimator, he worked on a wide range of delivery methods including hard bid, negotiated, and design build. As a project manager, he worked on projects with different challenges from renovating occupied buildings, constructing buildings in historic districts and maintaining demanding schedules. Through this experience and a focus on excellent communication and coordination between project team members, Matt is able to deliver quality projects within budget and on time. Matt is also a LEED Accredited Professional.

Jay Herrmann – Senior Estimator ; Since 2004

Jay earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science and Management from Kansas State University in addition to 17 years of experience in the construction industry, 12 years of which have been with AHRS Construction, Inc. While working with AHRS, Jay has developed strong relationships in the pre-construction community. In his role as estimator, Jay assembles a vast array of cost estimates ranging from lump sum bids to design build proposals to budgetary cost analysis. Jay also assists the project manager with cost control, procurement, scheduling, and coordination.

Garret Stallbaumer – Project Manager ; Since 2008

Garret has been a part of the construction industry throughout his entire life. Being the son of owner Dan Stallbaumer, he has acquired much knowledge in the mechanics of the construction trade through his years of working in the field at AHRS. Having earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science and Management from Kansas State University in December of 2008, Garret has now joined the AHRS team full time. Garret has the education and practical experience to effectively manage commercial and residential construction projects.

Eric Stallbaumer – Project Manager ; Since 2012

Eric began his career in construction while working during the summer season at AHRS for 7 years. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science & Management from Kansas State University, Eric worked for a general contractor in Colorado for 4 years as well as 4 years with a contractor in Kansas City. Eric’s role as a project manager on projects up to $32M as well as various smaller projects, has gained him the knowledge and skills needed to lead any project. Eric is a LEED Accredited Professional and has completed the ASHE Healthcare Construction Certificate Program and the LSWP/RRP training. In 2013, Eric also completed the requirements to be an American Hospital Association Certified Healthcare Constructor. Along with the Senior Project Manager, Eric coordinates with the Owner, Architect and Subcontractors to manage each project.

Teresa Stallbaumer – Office Manager/HR Manager ; Since 1977

As office manager for over 40 years, Teresa has played a vital role in the stability and progression of AHRS. Teresa has established many strong relationships within the industry as well as in the community with her leadership in numerous activities which include volunteering her time and organizing other volunteers to complete a successful project. Through this leadership, she has gained a high level of respect from not only her peers but also the community.

Carol Farwell – Account Manager ; Since 2000

Carol, a University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate, came to AHRS from a local manufacturer where she gained knowledge in project accounting and administration. She understands the challenges of commercial project administration and the roles that the owner, architect, subcontractors, and suppliers should play in every successful project. In her 16 years at AHRS, Carol has built strong relationships with these parties to aid in the administration being both efficient and effective.

  • Preparation of subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Maintain project records
  • Preparation of owner billings
  • Management of subcontractor and supplier documentation requirements
  • Regulate subcontractor and supplier payments according to original contracts and track corresponding lien waivers

 
Sherri Heideman – Clerical Secretary ; Since 2004

As clerical secretary for AHRS, Sherri accepts countless responsibilities to ensure the completion of daily tasks within the company. With her positive attitude, she greets all office visitors with a warm smile and a helping hand. Sherri's enthusiasm assists in the overall productivity of AHRS Construction, Inc.

  • Direct phone calls
  • Prepare mailings including transmittals, filling plan orders
  • Organize concrete pumping schedules
  • Assist office personnel

 
Jillisa Christenson – Payroll Manager ; Since 2008

Jillisa joined AHRS in September of 2008 and has quickly become a very knowledgeable and valuable member of the team. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Services and Management from Kansas State University. Jillisa began her career working in the financial industry while being employed with a major financial institution in Kansas City. As Payroll Manager, Jillisa is responsible for all aspects of the payroll process including all reporting requirements and employee file maintenance. She also is largely responsible for developing marketing tools.

Superintendents/Foremen

Ranging from 7 – 39 years experience in job site supervision and construction of new and renovated commercial properties and residential construction projects, AHRS's superintendents have the knowledge and skills to produce a successful project. Our superintendents have supervised a variety of construction projects including schools, libraries, recreational facilities, hospitals, churches, office buildings, fire stations, and wastewater facilities.

  • Overall layout and complete construction and supervision of projects from commencement
  • Preparation of schedules and daily planning, coordination and scheduling of subcontractors, and material delivery
